The Bell Ringer will run in the Schoolyard Theatre, Charleville from Jan 31st to 26th February.

Special preview of The Bell Ringer on January 31st at 8pm with a limited number of tickets available for just €10.

BIOGRAPHY

Susannah de Wrixon

Susannah has been working as a professional actor/singer for over twenty five years.Most recently she appeared in Circle of Friends produced by Breda Cashe at the Gaiety theater. Earlier in the year she helped create “Warrior” written and directed by Karen Egan, performed for streaming. She was also a part of The Emily Project alongside Stephan Rea, Ryan O Shaughnassy and RTE concert orchestra. She was also seen in “The Dead an Opera” also produced by Breda Cashe Productions. She was part of the work in progress for Breakfast On Pluto at the Galway Arts Festival 2019. Also for Landmark Productions, she toured with Woyzeck, In Winter directed by Conall Morrison. In the early days, she worked with Loose Canon Theatre company playing roles in JULIUS CEASAR, THE REVENGERS TRAGEDY, MEASURE FOR MEASURE, CORIOLANUS and THE DUCHESS OF MALFI. Shows for the Abbey Theatre include,THE SHAUGHRAUN, ST JOAN, THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, AN IDEAL HUSBAND, PYGMALION, ALICE IN FUNDERLAND, LIVING QUARTERS, and THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY. Other productions include, KING LEAR, THE UNLUCKY CABIN BOY for Verdent Productions, “I KEANO “, for Lane productions, “ANNIE” at the Tivoli. AS MARRIED AS WE GET, JUST A LITTLE ONE ,FEVER … THE STORY OF PEGGY LEE , and THE GIRLS OF SUMMER for Bewleys Cafe Theatre. PLEASE DON’T MAKE ME FEEL SO HAPPY at the Olympia and THE GHOST SHOW for the Dublin Theatre Festival. Susannah also appeared in a production of They Float Up by Jacquelyn Reingold. The Good Fight , Grace and Frankie produced by Bewleys Cafe Theatre . Susannah has had various collaborations with artists as diverse as The Nualas, Opera Theatre Company, Camille O’ Sullivan,Rosaline Linehan and Conor Linehan,Jim Doherty , the National Concert Orchestra and many more. She has recorded three Albums, and her show TINY TUNES, AN EARLY YEARS CABARET continues to tour. TV and film work include STRIKING OUT, THE CLINIC, FAIR CITY, BALLYKISSANGLE. She appears alongside Olivia Coleman in the Irish Film Joyride. Her latest film role is playing Queen Portia in A Royal Corgi Christmas for Hallmark TV. Susannah is a proud Limerick lady who is very honoured to be a part of this wonderful new production for the shoestring theater company.

Patrick Ryan

Patrick recently appeared on stage in SKY FALLS written and directed by Neil Flynn at The Glass Mask Theatre. He recently completed filming the role of Frank Dolan in the feature film THAT THEY MAY FACE THE RISING SUN directed by Pat Collins.

Stage credits include roles in, THE THING ABOUT DECEMBER, EDEN, PUMPGIRL, PORT AUTHORITY, THE WEIR, A SKULL IN CONNEMARA directed by Andrew Flynn for Decadent Theatre Company, BREAD NOT PROFITS directed by Terry O’Donovan for Guna Nua, THE MISFITS and THE FALL OF THE SECOND REPUBLIC (Abbey Theatre Co-Production) both directed by Annie Ryan for Corn Exchange, WHITBY directed by Joan Sheehy at Smock Alley Theatre, Livin Dred Theatre’s revival of RIDE ON, Belltable Arts Centre’s THE REVENGER’S TRAGEDY, and the incredibly popular ALONE IT STANDS from Lane Productions which toured for a number of years.Screen credits include HARRY WILD, VIKINGS: VALHALLA, DAMO AND IVOR: THE MOVIE, GAME OF THRONES, THE WHISTLEBLOWER, NORTHANGER ABBEY, PURE MULE and TRIVIA. He also played the role of Karl alongside Domhnall Gleeson in Tom Hall’s critically-acclaimed SENSATION. He is perhaps best-known for his regular role of Garda Paudge Brennan in the popular TV3/BBC drama RED ROCK.
